Ingredients:
For the Dump Cake:
1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Cheesecake Layer:
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat and Prepare
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
Step 2: Create the Cheesecake Mixture
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Set the cheesecake mixture aside.
Step 3: Assemble the Dump Cake
Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the pie filling and gently swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
Step 4: Add the Cake Layer
Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the top of the strawberry and cheesecake layers.
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, ensuring it’s as well-distributed as possible.
Step 5: Bake
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
